Anthony Laureano to Fight at “Slugfest at the Sun” June 30th at Mohegan Sun

The buzz is growing for STAR BOXING'S "SLUGFEST at the SUN" as it features the much anticipated return of the Long Island Union Laborer, the "Common Man," light heavyweight, JOE SMITH JR. (23-2 19KO's).  The co-feature bout highlights former WBC Women's World Champion, KALI "KO MEQUINONOAG" REIS (13-7-1 4KO's). Star Boxing Year in Review: A look Back Before this Friday’s Rockin Fights Kali Reis

Bejenaru Wins in WBC International Title Defense at the event : Slugfest at the Sun

Uncasville, CT, November 26, 2017-Last night, Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing presented another rendition of the "Slugfest at The Sun" series at the Mohegan Sun arena in Uncasville, CT. The card was headlined by Crusierweights Constantin Bejenaru and Thabiso Mchunu who fought for Bejenaru's WBC International Cruiserweight title in a 10 round bout. Bejenaru came away with a unanimous decision victory over Mchunu, the mandatory challenger, defending his WBC International title sucessfully.  The bout often times saw each fighter playing the game if cat and mouse with one another.
