Bejenaru Wins in WBC International Title Defense at the event : Slugfest at the Sun

Uncasville, CT, November 26, 2017-Last night, Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing presented another rendition of the "Slugfest at The Sun" series at the Mohegan Sun arena in Uncasville, CT. The card was headlined by Crusierweights Constantin Bejenaru and Thabiso Mchunu who fought for Bejenaru's WBC International Cruiserweight title in a 10 round bout. Bejenaru came away with a unanimous decision victory over Mchunu, the mandatory challenger, defending his WBC International title sucessfully.  The bout often times saw each fighter playing the game if cat and mouse with one another. 2005: Paulie Malignaggi coming back in August Signs new managerial contract with Sal LoNano

 TEWKSBURY, Mass. (June 27, 2005) - "The Magic Man" - Paulie Malignaggi - plans on returning to the ring in late August with a repaired right hand and new manager, Sal LoNano, who guided "Irish" Micky Ward the final four years of his memorable career.
