Three-Time World Champion William Joppy Headlines “Knockouts at Coushatta IX” September 17

Kinder, LA—Three-time WBA Middleweight champion William Joppy (35-4-1) takes on Will “Kid Fire” McIntyre (36-4-1) in a 10-round non-title main event at “Knockouts at Coushatta IX,” Coushatta’s latest professional boxing showdown. Special guest appearances at the press conference and weigh-in on September 16 will be former Heavyweight champion Evander “Real Deal” Holyfield, current WBA Lightweight champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz, and well-known boxing promoter Freeda George Foreman. The three boxing superstars are also scheduled to make an appearance at “Knockouts at Coushatta IX” on September 17 in The Pavilion at Coushatta.

The co-main event pits undefeated Featherweight José “Pitbull” Diaz (Juan Diaz’s younger brother) against Antonio Young. Other featured fighters include Junior Middleweight Genaro Alarcon, undefeated female Middleweight Akondaye Fountain, and more professional warriors.

Boxers’ weigh-in and press conference will be held 3:00pm Friday, September 16, in Gumbeaux’s Sports Bar, inside the casino. The boxing event will be held in The Pavilion at Coushatta.
