Glen Johnson Retuns to Florida February 24 -Also in Action – Heavyweight contender David Tua

(JAN 11) HOLLYWOOD, FL, – He has traveled the world in his quest to become the best Light Heavyweight in the World – from Germany to Las Vegas, England to Memphis – but on Friday, February 24th, former World Light Heavyweight Champion Glen ‘The Road Warrior’ Johnson (43-10-2, 29 KOs) finally returns to his adopted home of Florida to fight in the Sunshine State for the first time since 1996 when he battles concussive puncher Richard Hall (27-5, 25 KOs) for the IBA Light Heavyweight Championship of the World in the main event of the latest edition of “Hard Knocks at The Hard Rock”.

This 12 round World Title Fight bout headlines an exciting night of boxing – presented by Warriors Boxing Promotions – at the beautiful Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event will also air on pay-per-view.

Johnson-Hall isn’t the only world class fight on the card though, as Heavyweight contender David Tua (44-3-1, 38 KOs) continues on his road to the championship when he clashes with Javier Mora (19-2, 17 KOs) in the ten round co-feature, and unbeaten Russian prospect Timor Ibragimov (20-0-1, 12 KOs) hopes to repeat the success enjoyed by his cousin Sultan on the last Warriors’ show in December when he faces an opponent to be announced in another electrifying 10 round Heavyweight bout.

But the hits keep on coming on February 24th, as the number one lightweight contender in the world, Ricky ‘Showtime’ Quiles (38-6-3, 8 KOs), will also be in action as he keeps sharp in a ten rounder while he chases down a 135-pound champion who is courageous enough to face him in the ring.

And it wouldn’t be a Warriors’ show without them showing off the most talked about young prospects, so expect to see Brazilian knockout artist Adailton DeJesus (14-0, 14 KOs) in an eight round lightweight clash, and Colombia’s Samuel Miller (13-0, 12 KOs) and Brazil’s Erivan Conseicao (5-0, 4 KOs) in separate middleweight bouts. Opponents for this terrifying trio (a combined 32-0 with 30 KOs) will be announced shortly.
