Seldin Stops Acuna in 7th at Rockin Fights 13 at the Paramount

ESPN will exclusively televise the 12-round World Boxing Council (WBC) World Heavyweight Championship fight

By Pepe Rodriguez:   ESPN will exclusively televise the 12-round World Boxing Council (WBC) World Heavyweight Championship fight and rematch between top-rated contenders Bermane “B. Ware” Stiverne (23-1-1, 20 KOs) and Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (36-3, 31 KOs) live on Saturday, May 10, at 8 p.m. ET. The fight from the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif., will be televised live in the U.S. on ESPN and ESPN Deportes and will be presented by Corona Extra. The fight will also be available on computers, smartphones, tablets, Apple TV, Xbox and Roku via WatchESPN. Coyle Crowned Prizefighter Champion By David Wilkey

20 YEAR-OLD Johnny Coyle (6-0-1) took home the Prizefighter Welterweight trophy along with the £32,000 winner’s purse on Saturday night (5th March) after a sensational night of boxing at a sweltering York Hall in London’s Bethnal Green. Coyle and the 7 other fighters in the knockout tournament showcased their skills live on Sky Sports with another of Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Sport’s Prizefighter tournaments providing the first-class entertainment that it has become renowned for. The exciting format of the one-night tournament consists of four quarter-final bouts with the winner proceeding to the semi-final and then the final if they are victorious, with all bouts 3x3 minutes. Team Skipp Scott Files Protest over Controversial ‘Knockout’ Loss to Gerald Washington

Hall of Fame Trainer Jessie Reid and promoter Kerry Daigle of Keeppunching Entertainment say the California Boxing Commission has a clear duty to correct the mistake made by referee Lou Moret in the Skipp "Strictly Business" Scott vs. Gerald Washington fight, held on Thursday, April 3, at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. With the FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes cameras rolling, Reid, who served as co-trainer for Scott, watched as his fighter was dropped to a knee by a legitimate right hand and then knocked out by a hard body shot a full second after his fighter had clearly taken a knee.
