Zeuge ready to make history on Saturday night
Tyron Zeuge (18-0, 10 KOs) says he is ready to make history on Saturday night when he challenges Giovanni De Carolis (24-6, 12 KOs) for the WBA World Super Middleweight title at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin. The undefeated 24 year-old can become Germany’s youngest ever World Champion with a victory over the experienced Italian, beating Graciano ‘Rocky’ Rocchigiani’s record of 24 years and 73 days by 8 days.
He will face a tough task against the 31 year-old from Rome, who claimed the WBA World title in January with an eleventh-round TKO win over Zeuge’s stable mate Vincent Feigenbutz at the Baden-Arena in Offenburg.
