William Zepeda Set For First WBF Title-Defense On April 27
Big-punching Southpaw prospect William “Camaron” Zepeda is set to make the first defense of his World Boxing Federation (WBF) Mexican Lightweight title against Pedro Solis Rodriguez on Friday April 27 at the Polidiportivo Juan S. Millan in Culiacan.
Only twenty-one years old, Zepeda has put together an impressive 13-0 record since turning professional in November of 2015. Eleven of his victories has come inside the distance, and ten of those within the first four rounds.
Zepeda already holds wins over tough opponents such as Manuel Castro (17-5), Juan Pablo Borbon (7-1-2), against whom he won the WBF title last October, and former Mexican titlist and WBC regional belt-holder Jesus Acosta (21-8-2).
