Pressure on WBC Cruiserweight World Champion Badau Jack to sign contract to fight mandatory challenger Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki
HAMILTON, Ontario, Canada (February 27 2025) – The pressure is on World Boxing Council (WBC) Cruiserweight World Champion Badou “The Ripper” Jack (20-1-1, 19 KOs) to sign a contract to fight the WBC’s No. 1, mandatory challenger Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (20-1-1, 19 KOs) by tomorrow (Friday, end of day), per the WBC, or be stripped of his title.
Rozicki’s promoter, Three Lions Promotions, was the lone bidder earlier this month for the recently ordered WBC purse bid. Self-promoted Jack, 41, did not submit a bid.
Three Lions Promotions has secured a date and venue, April 26 at Centre 200 in Rozicki’s hometown of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
