McCreedy and Traietti win in Beantown – Boston Fight Results

BOSTON (Nov. 23, 2013) - Big Six Entertainment closed its 2013 season on a strong note, featuring its best top-to-bottom card of the year, tonight at The Royale Nightclub Boston (formerly The Roxy).  In the main event on "Royale Rumble," presented by Big Six Entertainment in association with Danny Kelly Promotions, "Irish" Joey McCreedy (17-6-2, 6 KOs) won a unanimous six-round decision over Steven "Too Sharpshooter" Tyner (3-13-2, 2 KOs). McCreedy, fighting out of the same hometown as "Irish" Micky Ward (Lowell, Mass.) and his trainer Dicky Eklund, plans to fight as a super middleweight in 2014. Non-Stop Boxing Action at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma!

November 4, 2013 /  Photos by Sue TL Fox/Harvey Johnson    On Saturday night, November 2, 2013, at the Emerald Queen Casino, in Tacoma, Washington at the BATTLE OF THE BOAT 93 promoted by Brian Halquist Promotions, there were six action-packed boxing matches on the card.  In the headliner, Zahir Raheem, 155,  34-3-0 (21KO), wasted little time in taking out his opponent Tim Coleman, 153½, 19-3-1, of Baltimore, Maryland.  Raheem displayed speed, timing, devastating body shots and combinations throughout the fight.  Quickly after the bell sounded to start the second round, Raheem landed a shot to the gut that dropped Coleman to his knees.   After standing up, Raheem then followed to knock Coleman down twice more with right hooks to the body.
