New York State Boxing HOF announces dates for 2020 and 2022 classes

NEW YORK (May 17, 2021) – The COVID-19 pandemic certainly knocked down boxing in general for the past 1 ½ years. Ring 8, though, remained busy despite not being able to hold its monthly meetings. Despite no revenue generating events as it normally has several times during the year, Ring 8 got up off the mat, and recorded a KO victory on several fronts. Ring 8 distributed more than $11,000 in financial assistance to numerous deserving people in the boxing community, ranging from boxers to trainers, cornermen and those in the boxing community who were in need. Jeter Promotions a hit with two exciting shows in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (April 23, 2021)--Jeter Promotions made it's Philadelphia debut with two exciting shows at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.  The shows were contested in front of two very enthusiastic and sold out crowds. In the main event of the evening session, Daniel Gonzalez won a six-round unanimous decision over veteran Evencii Dixon in a welterweight fight.  Gonzalez of Woodhaven, New York controlled the action and won by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice to raise his mark to 20-2-1. Brandon Chambers remained undefeated as he stopped Jonathan Gray in round three of their scheduled four-round featherweight bout.  In round three, Chambers landed a perfect straight right to the head that put down Gray.
