In a historical and electrifying fight, Katie Taylor successfully retained her World Boxing Association 135-pound belt against Amanda Serrano. Both starred in the first women’s all-star fight at Madison Square Garden and went down in the golden pages of world boxing. Joe Smith Jr. Earns WBO World Title in War with Vlasov

(JAN 13) VERONA, NY –Last night at the Turning Stone Resort Casino, in Verona, New York, two-time Olympic boxing champion Claressa "T-Rex" Shields and Tori Nelson made women’s boxing proud when they fought in the main event in ten rounds of boxing action.  Shields winning by unanimous decision, with Shields successfully defending her WBC and IBF Super Middleweight titles, adding the prestigious WBAN Super Middleweight title to her resume. Little Creek Brawl IV Featured on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights! by Sue TL Fox

(JAN 27) On Friday night at the Little Creek Casino Resort, in Shelton, Washington, on the "Little Creek Brawl IV" featured on ESPN2 Friday Night fights and promoted by Goossen Tutor Promotions, in front of a full house of boxing fans (and Seahawk Fans), presented ten exciting men's professional bouts on the card.  In the main event, Thomas "Top Dogg" Williams, 174,  now 16-0 (11KO), had what was called the best one round on a card when he and Cornelius "Da Beast" White, 174, 21-3 (16KO), fought in a knockdown drag out first round ending with Williams TKO'ing White at 2:49 seconds of the first round.  As soon as the bell rang, these two came out fast and hard, with the first knockdown coming when Williams threw a quick combo, landing White to the canvas.  Shortly there after White returned Read more [...]

HBO After Dark: Abregu Wins Big against Dulorme

Gary Shaw Productions in association with Greg Cohen Promotions, DiBella Entertainment, Thompson Boxing Promotions, Universal Promotions, Prize Fight, Joe Deguardia's Star Boxing, and Zanfer Promotions presented an amazing night of boxing at the Turning Stone Casino. In the 10-round main-event, Argentine slugger, Luis Carlos Abregu (34-1, 28 KOs) defeated former undefeated Puerto Rican contender, Thomas Dulorme (16-1, 12 KOs) by way of seventh round TKO to capture the WBC International welterweight title. Dawson Wins Second Time Around Against Hopkins; Witherspoon Stopped in the Third by Mitchell!

(APR 29, 2012) Last night at the Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and telecast on HBO, "Bad" Chad Dawson, 29, won a 12-round unanimous decision over Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins, now 47 years old.  Dawson was able to successfully dethrone Hopkins for the Ring and WBC Light heavyweight title, that could have happened in October of 2011, at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, California, but in their first fight in October, Hopkins got injured early in that bout.  Dawson was initially declared the winner the night of the fight, which HBN being present at that fight saw the reaction of the crowd who were in shock.  Ultimately their first fight was declared a technical draw after the WBC reviewed the bout. .
