USA Boxing Announces New Board of Directors President, Vice President and Treasurer

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Boxing announced today the three elected positions on our Board of Directors after a meeting held this weekend in Reno, Nevada.  Tyson Lee, the current President and CEO of Veteran Industries, was elected as the new USA Boxing President of the Board of Directors and will begin his service immediately until December 31, 2020. Promoter Greg Cohen Files Official Protest Over Bogdan Dinu’s KO Loss to Kubrat Pulev on Behalf of Team Dinu

Because of the serious nature of the illegal fouls inflicted on his fighter, Bogdan Dinu, in his knockout loss against Kubrat Pulev on March 23 at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California, promoter Greg Cohen has filed a Petition for Change of Decision with the California State Athletic Commission. Citing repeated rabbit punches, including one intentionally flagrant foul while Dinu was already down on his knees and defenseless, Cohen has filed a Petition for Change of Decision under rule 4 CCR – 368 of the Official California Code of Regulations, which states that the commission can change a fight’s verdict if a violation of the laws or rules and regulations governing boxing affected the result of any contest. Sampson Boxing Signs Panama’s Jaime Arboleda to a Promotional Contract

Sampson Boxing proudly announces the signing of Panamanian junior lightweight Jaime “Jaimito” Arboleda to a promotional contract.  Arboleda (13-1, 11 KOs) has been fighting since he was six years old.
