The "Redemption" boxing card, to be presented at the Salon Mezzanine of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico scheduled for next May 13, will feature some of the most prominent prospects from prestigious boxing gyms in Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.  Presented by Borizteca Boxing, the card will consist of 13 fights, mostly 4 round bouts, with 56 scheduled rounds, and will include the professional debut of the two sons of the late boxer Hector "Torero" Lopez. Mike Tyson tells Abraham to knock out Ramirez

Things are heating up ahead of Saturday night’s WBA World Light Heavyweight title fight between Juergen Braehmer (47-2, 35 KOs) and Eduard Gutknecht (29-3-1, 12 KOs) at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, Germany. New York, March 10, 2016 -The DeGuardia family and Star Boxing would like to thank the boxing world and everyone else for their tremendous outpouring of support and kind words for a man who was truly special.   Joseph DeGuardia SR., (AKA DioGuardi) a lifelong resident of the Bronx and resident of Morris Park for over 50 years, died on March 8, 2016. He was 86.  Mr. DeGuardia was born on February 27, 1930 in New York City to the late Dominick and Emilia (Leone) DioGuardi. He was a professional boxer who founded the Morris Park Boxing Club and BATOY (Better America Through Our Youth). Through these organizations he trained and mentored an entire generation of boxers.
