‘Chicago’s Polish Prince’ Andrzej Fonfara Inks Promotional Agreement with Warriors Boxing
Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing proudly announce the signing of Chicago's Polish Prince, Andrzej Fonfara, to a promotional contract. Fonfara will continue to be co-promoted by his long-time promoter, Dominic Pesoli of 8 Count Productions. 25-year-old Fonfara (25-2, 14 KOs), currently the IBF #1, WBO #2 and WBC #7-ranked contender, is a native of Warsaw, Poland, and a longtime Chicago fan favorite since turning professional in 2006.
Riding high on a 15-bout unbeaten streak and known for his fight-ending power, Fonfara most recently stopped former world champion Gabriel Campillo on August 16 to reach the mandatory contender position in the IBF.
