Four WBF Title Fights in Austria December 7th

On Saturday December 7 at the Speedfit Sporthalle in Vienna, Austria, local promotional outfit Box-Team Vienna is staging a massive card featuring no less than four World Boxing Federation (WBF) title fights involving local fighters against tough foreign opposition. Topping the bill, WBF Intercontinental Middleweight Champion Gogi “Lionheart” Knezevic, 25-4-1 (12), is set to defend his title against Georgian challenger Robinson Omsarashvili, 13-5-3 (7). 34-year-old Knezevic won the title last May defeating former European title-challenger Jozsef Matolcsi from Hungary, and the Omsarashvili-encounter will be his first defense. Jason Barnett Late Replacement for Manuel Quezada for Travis Kauffman fight

This Saturday night at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA, WBA number-ten ranked Heavyweight Travis Kauffman (26-1, 19 KO’s) will now fight Jason Barnett in the 10 round main event for the WBU Intercontinental Heavyweight championship. Kauffman was originally due to fight Manuel Quezada but Quezada failed to supply the proper paperwork and Barnett was summoned for this title opportunity. “After it was apparent that Quezada would not be able to make the fight, we looked for good suitable replacements.  We put calls into Derrick Rossy, Epifanio Mendoza and Bowie Topou but Barnett was the only guy willing to take the fight.”, said Kings Promotions Marshall Kauffman.
