USA BOXING to Host Press Conference ahead of Western Qualifer in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (March 1, 2018) -- USA Boxing will hold a special press event in the Lobby Lounge at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Albuquerque on Monday, March 5 at 11 a.m. to kick off the Western Elite Qualifier & Regional Open Championships. The press event will feature Albuquerque natives Danny Romeroand Sharahya-Taina Moreu, who represented Team USA at the 2017 Youth World Championships and making her elite debut at the tournament; Virgil Hill, 1984 Olympic silver medalist; Jesse Valdez, 1972 Olympic bronze medalist; and Austin Trout, 2004 U.S. National Champion and 2004 Olympic alternate, as well as USA Boxing Executive Director Mike McAtee and more.
