BOSTON (August 3, 2022) – Undefeated Colorado super middleweight “The Amazing” Shawn McCalman (11-0, 6 KOs), arguably boxing’s best kept secret outside of the Rocky Mountain, returns this Saturday night outdoors at Century Casino in Central City, Colorado, in the 6-round, co-featured event against Mexican Ulisses “El Cerillo” Jimenez (24-30-1). Co-trained by former world champion Vernon Phillips and residing in Aurora, Colorado, McCalman was a standout amateur who compiled a 65-7 record, including top honors in three Colorado State Golden Gloves tournaments.
